Ready to truly learn clay and feel confident working with your hands? This 5-week Thursday evening handbuilding course is designed to teach you all the essential handbuilding techniques, step by step, in a relaxed and supportive studio atmosphere. Over five evenings, you’ll explore pinching, slabbing, and coiling while building both skill and confidence. By the end of the course, you’ll be ready to join our Wednesday regular classes or continue as an independent studio member — with a solid foundation and a deeper connection to clay. You’ll work alongside a small group of amazing people, guided by an experienced teacher who supports your process from start to finish. Course structure: Week 1: Introduction & basic pinching Week 2: Advanced pinching project + wedging clay Week 3: Slabbing project Week 4: Coiling project Week 5: Glazing your pieces What’s included: - 2 kg of clay - All tools & materials - Teacher guidance throughout the course - Firing of your finished pieces ✨ Looking for something more free-flowing? If you already have sculptural ideas or prefer working on free projects, we also offer a Saturday freestyle handbuilding course where you’re free to explore without a fixed curriculum.
