Create three delicate ceramic flowers. In this hand building workshop, you will create three ceramic flowers using simple clay shaping techniques. This session is beginner-friendly and perfect for anyone who would like to explore clay in a relaxed and creative way. During the workshop, we will guide you step by step through the process of shaping petals, assembling the flowers, and refining the details so each piece has its own character. Once the flowers are shaped, you will be able to decorate them with colour using pigmented clay. This allows you to add soft tones or playful details to your pieces. No previous clay experience is needed. Our teacher will guide you throughout the session and support you in the process. The workshop includes clay, tools, colours, guidance from the teacher, and the finishing of your three flowers. After the session, the studio will apply a transparent glaze and fire the pieces in the kiln. Your finished flowers will be ready for pickup in the studio in approximately 4 weeks. Food and drinks are not included in this workshop. Working with clay is a handmade process, and small variations are part of the beauty of each piece.
