King's Day special - Intro to pinching

Service Description

Join us for a special King’s Day workshop where we combine clay and colour in a festive, creative session. In this hand building class, you will use the pinching technique to shape a small mug or bowl, perfect for beginners and anyone looking for a relaxed creative moment. All of this, while sipping a glass of orange aperol drink :) Once your piece is formed, you will decorate it using orange color, embracing the spirit of King’s Day. You can keep it minimal or go bold—this workshop is all about playful expression. You will work with approximately 350 grams of clay and create one piece during the session. Our teacher will guide you step by step through shaping and decorating. The workshop includes clay, tools, materials, guidance, and the finishing of one selected piece. After the session, your work will be glazed with a transparent glaze and fired in the kiln. Your finished piece will be ready for pickup in the studio in approximately 4 weeks. This workshop is hand building only and does not include the use of the pottery wheel. (one glass of Aperol included)
